Single-Shift School Timings
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Double-Shift School Timings
Morning Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Evening Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
These new schools and college timings in Punjab will apply to all public institutions across the province. The change is aimed at minimizing heat exposure for students, especially those attending schools with limited ventilation or cooling systems.
What to Expect on August 15
With schools and colleges scheduled to reopen on a Friday, most institutions expect only partial attendance.
